american elmAsh has a golden color palette with a golden cream sapwood and a caramel brown heartwood. The wood is straight-grained, open pored and hard. Ash is a grainy wood, similar to Oak and is a higher density hardwood.
As Ash is a ring porous wood, it accepts stain very well making the annual growth rings very pronounced.

The Hot Rolled steel finish has variations of light and dark grey giving a more industrial look. The Blackened Steel finish is caused by an oxidization process which creates an overall black with subtle hints of browns and rust tones. Our solid wood bases come in a variety of species to complement your slab table top. Color variations and characteristics will vary based on the wood selected.
