As a husband and wife artisan team, we have been transforming discarded Toronto trees into stunning, eco-friendly custom wood tables and furniture since 2004. Our passion for design and commitment to reducing waste has led us to become the leading salvaged wood dining table producers in Toronto. With Melissa’s artistic background and Sean’s expertise in arboriculture and woodworking, we bring together the best of both worlds. What We Do
WE ARE THINKERS AND DOERS
In the early 2000s, people were not focused on the idea of taking discarded trees and recycling wood. However, we decided to think outside of the box and leverage our combined skill sets. We purchased a dry kiln and sawmill, which led to the creation of a thriving industry. Our approach involves taking Toronto trees that have been permit-felled and destined for mulch or firewood, and instead transforming them into highly sought-after solid wood furniture pieces. This includes everything from live edge dining tables and natural wood coffee tables to our ever-popular CHARCUTERIE BOARDS.
URBAN TREE SALVAGE® is a unique company that handles all aspects of wood reclamation, including salvage, sawing, drying, and manufacturing. By overseeing every part of the process and avoiding outsourcing, they are able to maintain higher quality standards while offering competitive prices.
